Quick Brown Fox of Dulwich was founded by one fabric-obsessed HR Manager, who finally decided that the corporate world just didn't provide enough legitimate opportunities to swoon over fabric.

Her love of fabric all started when she began to accompany her Portuguese grandmother on her regular expeditions to find fabric and the appropriate ribbons, bibbons and buttons for her latest creation. She loved the big oak counters of the established specialist and department stores, with their inbuilt golden measuring tape and the way they expertly measured up and then in a flamboyant swish, ripped the fabric to the exact dimensions. It was all just so magical -  the seemingly infinite choices and tactile wonder of it all.

A fabric obsessive was born and it was only a matter of time before those passions would be indulged again.

So, along with her massively talented designer and wonderful sewing team, she decided to return to her creative roots (how did an Art History graduate end up hiring and firing?) and Quick Brown Fox was born.

At the core of Quick Brown Fox is a belief  that every penny you spend on your child's room should be on items that are the best quality you can afford and that you absolutely adore. (You can normally borrow any of those truly tedious items that no one could ever love!) Although our products will never come at bargain basement prices, we try to keep a sense of reality and ensure we provide good value and consistently great style.
