Hello ErgoCocoon

I make a point of personally trying and endorsing every product we have at the Fox, but until now there has been one product that I have never had the opportunity to roadtest: the ErgoCoccon (elder sprog too old by the time I heard about them). It didn't even occur to me to swaddle our first baby, but over time, as my 'mummy' circle grew, I repeatedly heard from people who swore by it. 

A few weeks ago, our new baby was getting herself into a right old tizz, flailing about, exhausted, but unable to calm down enough to get to sleep. I was all out of tricks and beginning to panic, when suddenly I thought - 'I run a babies bedding store! I stock swaddles -  I'm going to go and get one!!!" Five minutes later, there she was wrapped up her little coccoon, looking a little perplexed, and I have to admit a little odd. But, lo and behold... it calmed her down, and she was soon off to the land of nod. Nice one. 

So, I can't say we swaddle every night (she has no routine as yet - bad mother!!), but I am loving having this contraption in my bag of tricks (for when the dummy (human or manmade) just aint working. And I like how it keeps her little hands warm in this drafty old house!!
